that enhance the quality of life for residents of all ages in Amenia. We accomplish this through a diversity of

Recreation
Director Report
Recreation
Director, Ken Pomeisl, stated that the soil test for the fields is being done
by H. Esbaugh.
He also
stated that he is developing a field maintenance plan. Thanks Ken. This will become critical next
year at budget time, we will have a clearer picture as to how much money is
needed for the fields alone. Ken also
stated concern for safety at the fields in regards to the electrical keys. Ken and Pete will make sure that the appropriate individual (T.J. Campion) will
have the necessary keys only. Ken would
also like to see the concession stand open for the season. We all agreed and will look into doing that
as soon as possible.
Dugouts/Lions
Club
Linda
Gregory gave report on Dugouts: She met
with the Lions Club and they are eager to begin work. The Lions Club is donating their time and
expertise to erect the dugouts. The
financials are to be absorbed by the Recreation budget. Ken Pomeisl and Pete Clair agreed to give
their input and plans to the Lions. This
project is expected to begin June/July 2005.
