Harlem Valley Walks

Introduction

Harlem Valley Walks is a collaboration of the University of Albany Prevention Research Center, Parks and Trails New York and Amenia Recreation.

Program Information

With the Harlem Valley Walks program you will be able to walk indoors at the Webutuck High School (WHS) after school hours, 4 PM to 8 PM, Monday thru Friday during cold weather whenever school is in session (refer to the Amenia Town Calendar).

When the weather gets warmer, the program takes you outside to take advantage of the beautiful Harlem Valley Rail Trail, the WHS track and other nearby sites for walking.  Activities will be planned along the rail trail to help you enjoy this program of regular physical activity.

Registration

All participants in this program should register.  It is a simple process and is a great help to the administrators.  You can register each Monday from 5 to 7 pm at the entrance to the Webutuck High School or use the contact information below.  You will also receive newsletters and e-mails about upcoming events.
